Lightweight Baby Stroller

I know how important a good lightweight baby stroller can be on a day to day basis! And that’s why I built this web site, for you to find the best one at the absolute lowest price without all the hassles and aggravations that you don’t want to have to deal with!

Today I’ll talk about some of the options that you have and touch on some you may not have ever thought about before… I will also talk about prices so that you know what you can expect to pay in this genre and also show you how to find the best deals and take advantage of below sale price offers. Let’s jump right in!

A long time ago lightweight strollers were sort of flimsy and didn’t hold up very well. They weren’t really the kind of thing that you’d want to trust your child in over extended periods of time. Sure they worked okay for a while but inevitably they broke down much more often than you would think possible, leading to all kinds of frustrations and problems.

Today technology has advanced far enough so that lightweight doesn’t necessarily mean shoddy or cheap feeling (or looking!). Today many of your lightweight models have a lot of the same features that you have come to expect in a regular weight stroller which makes these suitable for many purposes that they would not have been suitable for even just a few years ago.

First I should explain exactly what I mean by lightweight because everybody has their own definition and I think that it’s important that we get on the right page right off the bat so that there aren’t any misunderstandings and neither of us wastes each other’s time. In my mind when I think of lightweight I think of 20 pounds or less. Of course you still want as many features as possible at that weight and so I’ll be looking at models that are as feature heavy as possible but at the same time keep the weight down below that 20 pounds threshold that I just mentioned.

Another consideration that I like to keep in mind is storage size. It’s important that they fold up easily and fit in the trunk of your car without taking up a whole lot of space. At the same time they need to be easily folded which means that if they take more than 30 seconds to fold up it’s too much of a hassle and I won’t be discussing models like that if I can help it.

I thought the best thing to do would just be too list several different strollers that fit the bill for my criteria so that you can do more research if you want to outside of this website, but can also research right here as well. So without further ado here is my list of 5 to 10 of the best models in my opinion.

Maclaren Volo Lightweight Stroller, Valco Baby Latitude Lightweight Stroller, Chicco C6 Lightweight Stroller, Micralite Toro Lightweight Stroller, Zooper Waltz Lightweight Stroller, Simmons Onyx Lightweight Stroller, Inglesina Swift Lightweight Stroller, Peg Perego Pliko P3 Lightweight Stroller.

Look for a discussion of each of these models in much greater detail throughout the website. I will make one quick comment about price right now though. For the most part the price ranges of these models vary from around $150 up to $350 or so. Yes it is absolutely true that you can find cheaper ones out there, for instance the Kolcraft Tour Sport Lightweight Stroller is a model that I didn’t mention yet you can find for around $40 which is one heckuva steal.

It’s important to do your research before you pick a lightweight baby stroller. Hopefully I’ve given you enough information to point you in the right direction and certainly if you search around on this website some more you’ll find much more detailed information for each of those models that are listed as well as help in finding the best prices which is very important as I’m sure you know!
